I’ve hacked a copy of GallerPy 0.6.0 to work as my embedded image gallery script. It should look nicer for you and, since it’s now just click-and-drag to add images, it should get more maintenance.
I did notice an intermittent bug where the script would fail and require clicking on reload several times but since I don’t have access to server logs and the problem seems to vanish when I turn on extended error messages (cgitb for you Python geeks), I’ll just have to leave it.
I’ve also noticed that WordPress can sometimes be slow when serving up the site updates listing but I don’t know what to do about that yet.

I noticed that my Javascript themes hack was messing up the image gallery. My current fix prevents it from working if the URL doesn’t contain a question mark or “index.shtml”. I’m working on a better solution.
*sigh* It seems that I introduced a bug of some kind. I’ve set up a simple alternative while I debug the image gallery script and I don’t know how long THAT will take since my debugging station (my home machine’s web server) is being difficult.
Well, it turns out that the bug is probably either dead or lurking where only I can trigger it. The gallery is back up for you to enjoy.
Where can i check out your gallerypy0.06 version?
