The new standard in fan music videos

EGS Music Video – Collide @ YouTube

For those of you who have never read El Goonish Shive, let me explain. It’s a webcomic about a bunch of teenagers who get into various situations that don’t always respect the laws of physics. It may sound cheesy, but you’ll have to trust me when I say that it’s one of the best comics on the web. (I’d say it’s the best, but your tastes may differ)

By now, you’re probably wondering how one can make a music video from a comic. The answer is, very carefully. Usually involving transitions and a lot of careful decisions. However, in the case of this video, that’s not the case. A LOT of time and energy went into it and it is definitely NOT a slideshow.

In short, it has to be seen to be believed. I didn’t think it was possible until I saw it.
