Edge.org World Question Center – 2008: What Have You Changed Your Mind About? – Page 2
A few days ago, I received this excellent collection of short essays via e-mail and I just thought I’d share it. As the title suggests, the topic for each essay is what the author has changed their mind about and why.
Some examples include:
- Why Japan’s surrender in World War 2 wasn’t really because of the atomic bombings at all
- Why it’s impossible to predict the future
- How the United States of America have lost interest in the future
- Whether we can build robots as advanced as we are
- …and more
Enjoy… because we can always use a little food for thought. 🙂
